8 days after my last cigarette and I still can't brush my teeth without spitting out pink foam. My gums are swollen and red, my mouth hurts all the time, and the nicotine withdrawal is getting worse and worse. Naturally, only the last of these things really matters. I have cleaned my house from top to bottom, knitted two scarves, and done all the Christmas shopping so there's noting left to do but poke at my rotting tissue and wish for a Goddamned cigarette.
